What is an Electric Geyser and how it works
An electric geyser is essentially a water tank fitted with heating elements used to heat water and distribute it directly to your hot water tap/s.
An electric geyser works by converting electrical energy into heat by way of heating elements which raise the temperature of water through conduction of the heat to the water.
What is a Solar Geyser and how it works
Solar Geysers or water heaters - as the name implies - use Solar energy for heating. There are two primary types of Solar Geyser Systems.
Direct solar geyser systems: This works by pumping water into solar panels. The water is then heated and stored in the geyser. These system use either solar panels or evacuated tubes.
Indirect solar geyser systems: These systems use a specially designed liquid(similar to anti-freeze), which circulates through solar panels in order to heat the water which then flows to a geyser. These systems use solar flat plates or evacuated tubes.
